People tend to think libertarian is synonymous "progressivism" or "left-winger" because it is commonly misused by grifters for example Chaya Raichik and her "libs of tiktok" thing. People just throw around the word liberal and the original meanings gets lost.

You have right-wingers who want to live under a king who are the absolutist right and then have the liberatian right and then have the conservative right. I am over simplifing it, but you get the point right-wing doesn't equal conservative. In one of Rogans debates he said he didn't want abortation banned because he has a daugther and he doesn't want her to be forced to have her rapist's child.

And Rogan also disagreed with Jordan Peterson's traditional conservative views when dating him he didn't believe in enforced monogamy. Joe Rogan to me doesn't fit a convservative because his views just don't line with one.

Yes, Rogan is the furthest thing from a Conservative.
Even Donald Trump isn't really a "Conservative" he was a registered Democrat most of his life.
Truthfully, the issue is that the Democratic Party (or portions of it) have gone much much further to the left, to the point that centrists or moderates appear "conservative" or "right wing"
