99% of the time I HATE poetry. I Just HATE it. Why not be straight to the point if you want to write about something so that the message is clear to everyone? There are maybe a handful that I like. They are easy and pretty straightforward.

I once read what Isaac Newton said about poetry. "Ingenious non-sense" ! LOL

It always sounds better when read aloud by someone who knows what they're doing than in your own head while reading. I'm not a fan myself but I can appreciate it and there is still a huge following. I'm not far from Laugharne and it gets packed in the summer simply because of the Dylan connection. We also hold a poetry based festival here that attracts over 150,000 visitors
