What’s some good books to read?

I ran out of books to read so I wasn’t sure what to read next. I like reading mystery and science fiction books the most but I’m ok with anything too 😌

I bought my mom a book called The Trunk this year for Christmas and I'm reading a Jack Reacher book :P My mom thinks I have a gift for finding the best books. I just go to the bookstore and look around and see what convinces me.

I bought her this book and she's still raving about it today :P Last year I bought her a book that was story about the conflict in Cyprus and it was long af I was a bit worried she'd get bored. But she read the whole thing and even gave it to her work friends who were going to Cyprus on holiday and they loved it too :) I don't know what I'm doing but I'm glad she's enjoying it :). The Trunk is a bit shorter and more faster paced so I thought it'd be good to mix it up after the last long book that she read :)

Have you read Elizabeth George? Start with "A Great Deliverance". The best British mystery author, and she's American. I met her once at Elliott Bay Books.

Last New Years I purchased a book on ikigai and I loved the book so much, I bought two more with the exact same title by other authors. And before anybody judge me for wasting money, the books were kindle versions and cost less than $3.00 each. Ikagai is the Japanese word for meaning and being in your element when you choose your daily behaviour. A lot of English speaking authors have written entire books on this topic that are fun and interesting to read.

Alien phalanx was good. As was aliens into charybdis.
Rise trilogy was good

You like fantasy, horror, alt history or apocalypse?

i’ll try to give those books a try 😌 i like fantasy and apocalypse the most but sometimes i read horror too

For fantasy I enjoyed a dueology by L. E. Modesitt
The lord protectors daughter
The lady protector

For apocalypse I enjoy the Sunfall Trilogy and the This would be paradise trilogy.

All female lead, well written and easy to digest

I liked historical fiction at your age. I read a book series that was based on civil war journals. They took soldiers journals and turned them into stories.
