If I see American sitcoms people act like a stupid idiot. Is that real or just show? Are they really acting like them?

Entertainment is escapism who is going to watch a show that is 8 to 12 hours a day clicking a mouse or lifting cases. Then going home to eat and fall asleep in front of the TV. No one. That real and that is what people need escapism from.
The biggest problems with Friends et al, is it's just not remotely funny. At best it's vaguely funny once or twice in the whole season. Not sure why people lap up this shit, but there's a lot I don't understand about life.
There’s stupid people everywhere in the world not just America.
American sitcoms often exaggerate characters and situations for comedic effect, so they don't necessarily reflect real American life. While some elements are inspired by real cultural aspects, the humor and scenarios are amplified to entertain audiences. It's important to enjoy them as fictional creations rather than accurate depictions of everyday life in America. 😂📺

I get the sense that we are starting to look more like 1990s sitcoms. That's a pretty terrifying though.
Nah, it's way stupider. Cause this is the idealistic view we all want
If any show was exactly like real life nobody would watch it.
Very few are even remotely close to real life.
