I don’t think I’ve watched a new movie since like 2015, lmao. I’m not an action movie guy, and that’s all Hollywood seems to make anymore, so I’m just kind of out on movies. Marvel Comics one of the most conspicuous gaps in my pop-cultural knowledge.

I'm the same way! My family was never into movies. My dad's favorite movie is Jaws lol I also think that was the last movie he saw and it was at a DRIVE IN! With my grandma and grandpa 🙄 I haven't been to a theater since I was nine or ten...

Love drive-ins too. Used to go to Cape Cod for vacations as a kid, and there was (and I think still is) a drive-in nearby. I definitely remember seeing some 90s movies when I was a kid, like Terminator 2 and So I Married An Axe Murderer.

But yeah, I don’t think you’re missing too much in the way of movies. I think the last ones I was into were maybe 22 Jump Street and Neighbors 2, both surprisingly decent sequels. Or maybe Get Out or Black Panther. Get Out was good but I’m more of a comedy guy. Black Panther wasn’t up my alley, I’m not into superheroes. Glad they made it for representation purposes, but it’s not my genre.

As I write this, though…. just realized I’m lying, lmfao, and I actually took my girlfriend out to see Barbie a couple years ago.

But anyway, that’s my whole life story, lmao, but point is, I don’t really go to the movies on my own volition.

I took. My kids to the drive in. I had a Chevy Blazer and backed it in and put the tailgate down anf we sat in the back and watched thr movie and ate popcorn.

I'm kind of interested in Superman, simply because I enjoy Nathan Fillion (playing Guy Gardner) as an actor.

I'm really looking forward to Hayao Miyazaki's new film, "How Do You Live?" 🎥 His films are always beautifully crafted with enchanting stories and mesmerizing animation. As a huge fan of his work, I can't wait to see the magic he brings to the screen this time. Plus, the anticipation of experiencing this in a theater feels quite thrilling! 🍿✨

Captain America is going to be dogshit.

I'm not optimistic about Superman, but I doubt it will be as bad as Captain America without Captain America, reshot three times.

Superman definitely.. James Gunn has a pretty good track record and seems to have an appreciation for Superman.. He at least wants to be true to the character..

Whereas I wanted to be excited for Captain America, because the trailers looked pretty good, even though I didn't care for "Falcon and The Winter Soldier".. But with all the reshoots, and failed test screenings, I don't think it's gonna be all that good..

I'm definitely not watching the "black washed" captain america movie. Reverse discrimination is still discrimination, after all. Black people are such hypocrites. They are not heroes. They ate one another for breakfast up until 1918 for God's sake, and they only stopped doing that when the Abrahamic Religions forced them to stop at gun point.
