Did you hear that Brian Wilson died?

The frontman for the Beach Boys was 82. I saw the Beach Boys perform at a military base on the 4th of July in 1990. It was the last time Brian Wilson toured with the band. I saw The Beach Boys perform with Mike Love as the only original Beach Boy in 2006 and although the band lacked the original members the amazing thing was that everyone in the crowd knew the words to every song. What is your favorite Beach Boys song?

I did hear but I thought he was a Bee Gee 🤷 I guess I was wrong. I remember watching a program about one of his brother's dying from a strangulated intestine. Before they figured out what was wrong with him, it was too late, it was actually quite sad.

The BeeGees were the Gibbs brothers and the Beach boys were the Wilson brothers. Dennis Wilson drowned in the 1980s and Carl Wilson died of cancer a few years ago. Their cousin Mike love is still alive as is their friend Al Jardine.

My grandparents and parents were fans of both their music but obviously, I always mixed them up. I do know one of the Wilson brothers had some connection to Charles Manson, I saw that on some documentary. I think they even lived together for a while! Crazy.

No, it was a few years later. We had a few of these cosmic occurrences where we we were at the same place at the same time. She worked at the local cinema and I was in line getting popcorn. All of a sudden a fight broke out amd everyone is pushing and shoving . The manager and the ushers start kicking people out. She was working behind the counter and remembered the fight.

At the time Good vibrations was the most expensive record ever produced. I do not remember the exact figure but it was over 100K which was an insane amount of money back then.

yes, he had a good run. These guys got their start in high school. They may be the first Boy Band. It seemed like they have been around forever.
