Even though I would never sabotage my best friend's engagement, I feel Julia Robert's pain in that movie.
What movie can you relate to hard?

Lots… the reason i luv movies so much is that it’s extremely rare for me to completely fail to relate to a character, or the theme, or get sucked into the dramatic arc of the story.
I’m a quote geek too. Off the top of my head, the most prominent movies i have quoted in my journal are “Fight Club”, “Rocky” and “GI Jane”, for their dramatic effect on me. Like a lot of people, i quote comedies all the time. But i’ve never written a joke of any kind into my journal.
The movie “Wild” is pretty remarkable too. It was tougher for me to relate to Cheryl because she was, in my perception, a wicked woman. However, the story was compelling enough and i didn’t read the book. So as i watched and waited for her to be punished for her wicked ways, i realized that’s exactly what she was doing. By then i was invested and i finished the flick. Despite feeling very strongly that she got off way too easily.
Dad? Is that you?
😂😂😂
I’m not sure which i’ve watched more times, “Fight Club” or the “Back to the Future” the trilogy.
I definitely went through an obsessive phase with “Fight Club”. It was on my TV all the time. I’d be listening and quoting along even if i wasn’t watching every minute.
Die Hard. It really is a metaphor for my life.

not like the innocence part and being overly protective, but just her actions. my body reacts physically like almost cringing watching that movie lol
I'll have to give this more thought, but my fave part in My Best Friend's Wedding is the boat scene.
Oh yeah that's a great scene. My favorite is when they are at the table singing Say a Little Prayer lol funny scene.
Yep! 😊
@Simslover92 Thank you for the MHO!
You're so welcome!
I totally get where you're coming from with "My Best Friend's Wedding." For me, it's "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." The way it explores the complexity of relationships, memories, and those bittersweet moments really resonates with me. It's such a visually stunning film with a raw emotional core, capturing the highs and lows of love perfectly. 🎨💕

I’d maybe say Superbad. No matter where you’re from, how old you are, your demographics, your politics…. I think most men can relate to being an awkward teenager trying to get laid but you’re nervous about talking to these girls who are just as awkward and nervous as you, and you just are unable to see it.
If you are male and are into girls, you have almost certainly been here as an adolescent, whether you want to admit it to yourself and others or not😂….
Life With Father (1947). It totally cracks me up.
I can relate to Clarence Day Sr. in some ways. He's a Free Thinker. I can have harmless outbursts like him when he cries "Oh Gad!" And I love my wife very much.
But I'm not as rigid, stubborn, or clueless.
The Truman Show.
I always feel like drama has to be made to happen to me periodically because someone is desperately trying to rattle up my life for personal amusement, despite my best efforts to be boring... and I'd really rather escape it all.
Tough to say in reality but is split between jewellers on film so Doug the Head and Vinnie & Sol in Snatch and Brian Reader in King of Thieves
They're all crooks unfortunately unlike myself but a film on a jeweller who's legit would probably rival Chardonnay for being dry
Not a movie, but a mini-series called Baby Reindeer. The weirdest part is I can strongly relate to both main characters—I’m an ex-fat girl and an ex-bar manager—so watching it felt like a mind-blowing moment. HEAR ME OUT!
I don't know. But I relate to the character Martin Riggs. Especially when in my 30s.
it’s not hard, but I would relate my life of Rocky but not poor like him plus I played many other sports
I've not related to a movie that hard to feel like it is my life.
I like movies but they're just entertainment for me. I can't really relate to any of them that much.
Jurassic park.
If I were in John Hammond's shoes I'd have never hired Nedry though.
"The Crush", I've known many crazy girls like that
"The 40-Year-Old Virgin". i'm not a virgin but single and i have been for pretty much all my life so it's relatable to me xD
Better then Chocolate especially when I am way I am. Others expect of me.
Jurassic Park, it was so hard for them to run away from all the dinosaurs :P
One night with The King 👑
@Simslover92
Did you see it?
No I haven't
I bet. I'll add it to the list
Ok I will when I get off work.
Well only porn movies make me hard. So I guess a porn lol. Plus I don't watch TV or movies any more
Frozen...
Rocky and The Dark Knight Rises.

Office Space
I saw that my junior year of college. Watched the first five minutes of him commuting in, dealing with his daily annoying bullshit at the office, and I was just like “Absolutely NOT.”, lmfao. Stayed in school til I was like 26, avoided a real job til I was in my 30s😂
“Corporate Accounts Payable, Nina speaking….. JUST a moment.” That still haunts me, lmao
Oooh yeah, that movie has many haunting settings and scenes. Add some of the stuff from "American Beauty" on top and you have it all. :-|
