What Is Your Opinion Of Ozzy Osbourne?

I think that despite his foghorn voice, he's one of the greatest performers in the history of the world. He passed away recently at 77, and I believe that he's in heaven. Although I was too have seen him with Black Sabbath, I did see him in concert several times as a solo act, in 1981, '82 and '86, when Metallica was the opening act, during the 'Ultimate Sin'/'Master Of Puppets' tour.

he was at our house one time when i was little and i remember he was just hysterical, he might not really have been but at that age i thought everyone was funny and i do remember a lot of laughing that night

then he showed up at one of my shows at Ravinia a couple of years ago with the whole fam and they came through the VIP line and i told him whose daughter i was, which Sharon explained to him a couple of times, and he was like holy moly i don't believe it and then made a big deal of it with everyone. he didn't remember meeting me but he also didn't remember ever being at our house which would have been a hard thing to forget so i thought hmmm

then i find out he was in England for his last show the same time we were at Wimbledon a few weeks ago. not that i would have done anything about it but it's interesting to know

i always liked how Lucy Hale and Penny Marshall kind of looked like him 😁

Loved him. My mom introduced me to him when I was little girl. Mama introduced to a lot of bands that she loved such as Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Alice in Chains, Elton John, ZZ TOP, the list goes on. Mom and I loved him and we both were shocked. Yeah, his voice is "interesting", but he's such an icon and made some good music. His band literally invented an entire genre.
His shows and interviews were also hilareous. It's a little sad about his past, especially since I had an alcoholic father

I think it's a bit unfair how he treated Jake E. Lee though.

I loved Ozzy.
I saw Black Sabbath many times but I never had a chance to see Ozzy when he went solo. I would have loved to have seen his Blizzard of Oz tour with Randy Rhodes.

Oh, he was most definitely an odd fellow, but also an amazing performer, in my opinion. As a musician myself, what makes a guy like Ozzy so intriguing is that every time he hires a new guitarist, etc, you want to hear him, to see how good he is. I have his show, The Osbourne's on DVD. It's one of my favorites to watch periodically. I like his music but I really like his family, as well as him just as the man he is. I was really sad to hear he died.
