First off.. the most prominent and sought of musicians/artist/producers/really high quality professionals don’t care much for awards. They don’t really dont need them to know the amount of value their input is worth. Those who know who’s who in their industry will tell you they’ve more focused on future projects than looking pretty for the media or paparazzi.


To answer your question.. More talented? Absolutely not…
Most successful? As in more wealthier? Hmmm possibly…
Most original; helll no…


But “most followers” yes.


I guess one exception would be Enrique iglesias.. but that’s a rare situation because he doesn’t consider himself ever being successful with his father’s help (julio iglesias). His father has multiple Grammys in English and spaniah. I believe sings in 7 languages… but I’m sure there are countless others also

It depends how we measure “better.” Keifer Sutherland has done very well for himself, but so has his dad. Donald, at the time of his passing, was estimated to be about 60 million. So far, Keifer is estimated at 100 million… but then are we judging by length in industry? (Donald would win that just because of age; we’d have to see what Kiefer does - if he lasts 20 more years, he’ll be neck and neck with his dad.) Are we adjusting for inflation?


Robert Downey Jr. his dad was more behind the scenes, but they both did well financially. I’m just guessing Jr’s eclipsed both mom and dad as far as income… maybe even adjusting for inflation, but again, it’s just a guess.

IMHO I'd say Chris Pine. I mean his father Robert Pine has been in a lot. Probably most notably the late 70's early 80's t. v. show CHiPs. But nothing high profile, no leading roles to my knowledge and definitely no Oscars.

Maybe not surpassed but certainly equal is Judy Garland's daughter, Liza Minelli. The same can be said for Jon Voight's daughter, Angelina Jolie. That must be some conversation over Christmas dinner at the Voight's, hmm? John Raitt was a leading man in Hollywood for a while, but I think Bonnie Raitt is far more recognized than her dad.
