I've been noticing that more and more tv shows/movies often has at least 1 male, main character in a relationship with a single mom. Often the male is more than glad to be a step-dad to the kid (s) and in some cases marries the woman.

Why is Hollywood pushing hard for men to date single moms and raise other men's kids? It goes against men's biology.
