What’s your opinion on cosplay comic con events and its community?

I wanted to cosplay as a genderbend version of Danny Phantom in casual school outfit but I don’t want to wear a superhero outfit because I don’t like skin tight clothing since they are so uncomfortable. I don’t like cosplaying mainstream characters because I heard people are more likely to criticise and judge if those cosplays are not accurate enough. I enjoy cosplaying but mostly I cosplay old classic characters from the early 2000s.

Cosplay community is toxic. Eg: cosplayers tearing down other cosplayers, drama, etc

Pretty cool. I sewed a cosplay costume a few years ago for a competition in Singapore that I didn't end up going to in the end but it was really fun and I wore the outfit for a Halloween party

At such event security is very important. Some men can resist if girls walk around in tight clothes or silicone suits. They think girls are in mood because they laugh and dance but in reality such events are hardest jobs you can have in normal model agencies. Those clothes are often not really comfortable, or you sweet like crazy, especially in silicone.
Those guys who tend to touch girls don't make any things if there is security present who observes permanently the crowd. But security cost money and this is the easiest cut to increase profits.

Cosplay is kind of a hard one. While I support people doing what they like and enjoying themselves. It bring out a lot of weird people. People that form para social relationships with the cosplayers, people that are way into video games anem etc as a form of escapism, etc.

At the end of the day people should be safe be happy and take care of themselves while being mindful of others.

Cosplay is awesome and I love to see creative people do it in YouTube shorts. Comic cons, conventions, renfaires have become pure toxic. Not family friendly. People dressed in shoelaces and nipple pasties. Just an excuse to be naked and yell at people for looking at you naked.

Yes I watched that episode a month ago but I still prefer to cosplay the original in genderbend version because I don’t like to wear skintight superhero outfits. I bought a white and red T-shirt on Etzy and I really like how it looks like in real life.

I envy the creativity and craftiness of good cosplayers. I even envy the boldness of those who buy their costumes as opposed to making them. I like the idea of dressing up, but i don’t like being the center of attention.
