I never did hear of him.
I only heard of him for the first time this year when I saw the story about him and his wife being murdered

The news I saw also reported it was allegedly one of his sons that killed him and his son was also diagnosed with Schizophrenia

I don’t think his age had anything to do with it.

There are plenty of other celebrities around the same age as Rob Reiner and even older celebrities than him I have heard of before today.

For example I have heard of all of these celebrities before the year 2025.

Rob Deniro, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Julie Andrew, Morgan Freeman, Barbara Eden, Brigitte Bardot, David Hasselhoff, Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton, Cher

I could add many more celebrities names I have heard of before 2025 around the same age and even older than Rob Reiner but I believe there is a word limit you could put into updates

Of course, most of the United States has, at least anyone with any cultural knowledge. He's directed many very popular films, starting with "The Princess Bride"
