Shooting the rapids is a lot of fun but can be dangerous. Many years ago, my friends and I (5 in total) were part of a rafting expedition down the Monongahela River in Pennsylvania, led by a local expedition group. Our raft overturned in some rapids and we were pinned against a large rock in the middle of the river. The leaders had to rescue us and a few of us (myself included) had to float down the river until pulled ashore by one of the leaders.

Haven't done a water slide since childhood and never done a lazy river. Walking in the rain, well that's just life here in general.

I could see a lazy river thing being nice on a real river and surprised they're not more a thing. But I'm going with water slide because of happy childhood memories of shooting off one and hitting a fat guy.

I would love to go to a waterpark with you on a waterslide. Those are very fun.

Whenever I am stressed I begin dreaming about these, I love them so much. I voted slide in the pool since its closer to a slide than a lazy river, but its really a category of its own.

I've done them all, but my favorite is the lazy river ride. Shooting the rapids is fun until you actually do it, and you're terrified you're going to die. I've had that happen a few times. I'm never going to do it again.
