Have you ever phoned a radio station to request a song? Did you dedicate it to someone special? Do you remember the song and who you dedicated it to?

I listen to a radio show that plays a lot of stuff from the 60s and 70s. Once I requested something I heard in college. My roommate had the album but I was never able to find it on You Tube or even Napster.
He actually played it for me. I did not dedicate it to anyone.
No. I've called in to opinion shows every so often though.
I’m pretty sure the last time i called a radio station it was “Loveline” when Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew hosted the show.
I have emailed a radio program more recently than that and had my email read and addressed on the air.
I think people can still do it now depending on the radio station. I haven't done it yet. It would be very sweet for someone to do that for me
Would you be listening? I rarely listen to radio anymore. I’m usually streaming music or podcasts.
Sometimes I'll listen in the car. I usually stream music too

Yes and no. We used to phone up making fake dedications with funny names, celebrating fake engagement and anniversaries, fake deaths and the songs.
One time we put a dedication to a girl from her teacher "you are the one that I want". We all got suspended for that one lol.
We got on cammorating a girl who died with her favourite song.
One celebrating gaylord first name on making the football team.
There were so many.
Are you kidding me? I grew up in the 70s! Of course!!
