oh man REM is one of my absolute favorites. one of my biggest regrets is not driving 1.5hr to see them on a Wednesday in what would end up being their last tour.

best live i've seen via DVD/streaming/etc:
Brown Sugar by the Rolling Stones from their "Ladies and Gentleman" 1972 tour. the song starts like a plane on a runway and suddenly after the opening riffs takes off and for 3 minutes you're flying

Mine is Jeff Buckley’s live version of “Hallelujah” from his Paris performances.
