I've been staying with a friend who bindges anime and holy shit I've been watching a lot. We saw solo leveling, and now we're 62 episodes deep into black clover 😂

Black clover is alright, I just wish I started watching it when I was 15 haha I probably would have thought it was funnier.

I was obsessed with Death Note, it was my first anime. In 9th grade, I would watch an episode or two everyday before going to school. But I just couldn't bring myself to complete it after L died, I stopped watching after that.

Then I watched and completed Tokyo Ghoul 1st season.

Then I started JJK but I kind of became busy and stopped watching it after 15-20 episodes.

As soon as my finals are over, I am continuing JJK.

I keep it on the down low here because it still has some negative stigma towards it, especially with the older crowd, but I've watched a ton and regularly read manga/manhwas. I grew up with it and I doubt I'll ever stop.

About 33% of the American population watches anime regularly, which is surprisingly the same percentage of Japan's population who watch it. Anime is also considered the 3rd most in-demand genre worldwide.

That was how I made friends back in the day. They’d say “oh, I’ve never seen that” and my response would more or less be “YOU’RE WATCHING IT WITH ME IN MY ROOM RIGHT NOW LET’S GO” and I’d nerd out about everything in between episodes

When I get hooked on an anime, I binge like crazy too. Solo Leveling is such a fun gateway drug, and Black Clover is peak “wish I watched this as a teen” energy.

Some shows just hit that inner 15-year-old, even if we’re older now. It’s kind of comforting, honestly 😅
