If you were to write a novel, what would it be about?

I have a handful of ideas for different stories.

One I would like to write would be a three-parter about a man who is a prince who is brave and has a strong moral compass, but is also childish and immature. The first part would be about his rise to power and successfully fending off an invasion into his kingdom.

Part 2 would take place about three or four years later. It would be about his becoming aware of an infiltration and cooperation of enemies within the kingdom. He also starts becoming morally corrupt, neglecting important responsibilities and even being unfaithful to the woman he loves, who also dies as a result of his negligence. This part ends with his defeated in battle and being deposed and exiled (or imprisoned; I've not made up my mind yet).

Part 3 begins four years later. He is now a cynical, derelict, and embittered drunk. He is taken in by a religious order that nurses him back to health and helps him come to terms with the evil he'd committed in Part 2. He spends the next seven years at their monastery, time which he spends getting back in good physical shape, becoming more disciplined, mature, confident, and balanced than he'd been before, and also retraining and refining on his prior military skills as a spiritual discipline. He has committed to spending the rest of his life as monk in prayer and penance for his crimes, which he is doing quite well. Until... a faithful old friend tracks him down and begs him to come back home. An ancient enemy has returned and allied themselves with infiltrators and is making their final movements to take his former kingdom. If they succeed, there would be disastrous worldwide consequences.

So imagine, if you could, a combination of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy and Lord of the Rings. I haven't decided yet if it would be in a parallel reality, on a far off planet somewhere, or on Earth in the distant future (if the latter, it would involve the Catholic Church). I kind of want sword-fighting and stuff, but also combat walkers, fighter jets, and guns. I dunno.

I would write it about 16 people who are living their lives, but not really feeling that much alive... or can't seem to find the reason to, live it to the fullest... and coming to terms with on the best way they can, till one day, by chance... they all meet at the same place and just like mirror... they start to see themselves in one another, just from a different perspective

and they all might be, or not be... just ideations, from the same individual trapped within himself, maybe...

I'm writing one now about my life since I've gone through quite a bit in my 34 years of living. Saw my father beat the crap out of my mom at a young age. Been sexually assaulted in college. Dealt with an alcoholic step dad though he didn't do anything to me, he raped my mom. And then there are other things I went through in college and after college that I'll explain more in depth in the book.

So yeah I think it would be interesting to write about my life.

Well the novel I am writing at this current moment is titled "Melodia" (Mil-A-dia) it's about a girl in the Melody she's special she sees auras and hears frequencies did no one else can and in the story there's this one low vibrational frequency that taunts her and she has to figure out why because it makes her weak and drained.
