For most people, Spotify Premium is the best all-rounder 🎧
Great recommendations, playlists, social features, and works on basically every device.

If you care a lot about sound quality, Tidal or Apple Music are better with hi‑fi options 🎼

If you’re deep into Apple’s ecosystem, Apple Music feels the smoothest. For casual, everyday listening, I’d still pick Spotify.

I use family plans for both Spotify and YouTube.

I listen to music and podcasts throughout the day.

YouTube is worth it for me because I can find all my forgein music that is not available on Spotify.

I do like Spotify because I can easily find really good workout Playlists and I can blend my Playlists with other people.

I hate ads so I'd rather pay to avoid them.

The only thing I pay for is YouTube Premium, which includes YouTube Music. The only reason I pay for it is to sample music before buying the physical product, and the standard YouTube sound quality is abysmal. The difference between the standard and the HD option is like night and day. You really notice it if played through a good sound system.

I think I have paid Spotify service that I got automatically with buying Denon amplifier few years back. It only works of this amplifier and songs can't be transferred to phone. I'm not sure how this works because I don't use this option often.

I subscribe to YouTube Premium which also includes YouTube music. It is the best subscription I have and the last thing I will give up.
I also have SiriusXM Premium.

The only streaming music service we have is SiriusXM which we use when traveling and can not find a decent radio station to listen t0. All the rest of our music library we own outright as either audio files, CD's, or both.

I've found Spotify Premium to be a solid value. And you get free access to Hulu... at least, you used to. It was Hulu with Ads. I think you still get it with Spotify Premium.

In my opinion, none. I have network attached storage I can access from all my devices that has a bunch of MP3's that I downloaded from amazon and CD's. I get no ads, no monthly subscription fee, and risk of songs/artist being removed.

It’s $10.99 per month. I get it part of a family plan with apple one. That includes a bunch of stuff, like Apple TV and apple iCloud upgraded storage, etc.

I can’t not find a song I search for. They literally have everything, no commercials or ads.

I do not pay for any of it. I go on You Tube and can record any music want for free and then convert it to an MP3 file.

@Iron_Man My roommate in college had a very extensive record collection. i did not like him much but I liked listening to a lot of the stuff he had. Most of it i never thought I would hear again but was able to find most of it on You Tube. I use Audacity to record the analog music from You Tube and convert it to MP3.
