Psychological thrillers give me that intense, layered storytelling I love, with complex characters and twisty plots. Art-house dramas feed my aesthetic side with beautiful cinematography, bold directing choices, and emotional depth.

If a movie blends those two, especially like something you’d see at Cannes, I’m obsessed 😍

Sci-Fi such as stargate. Very unhappy that the new one got cancelled because it was appealing to fans.
Its just a really fun writing style that gives the protagonists all kinds of tricky situations and even philosophical dillemas to overcome.

At one time or another, each of the first 7 have held the top spot for me. Currently it is sci-fi and has been for about 8 years. I enjoy the new worlds that are created and glimpses into future technology. As a teenager I didn’t care for this genre even though many my same age did then.
