Okay so Canderous doesn’t count because he’s technically Mandalore in the second game. But the people on this list are as follows
- Mission Vao
- Zaalbar
- Jolee
- Juhani
- Any of the Jedi council members except Vrooke

I am unsure of the answer. Maybe the developers didn't know how to incorporate them into the story? It would have been nice to know. I don't believe any other media expands upon their story.
Good question. I've finished both games. Not sure.

KOTOR II is set years later with a darker, more introspective tone, and Obsidian had limited time, budget, and legal constraints. They focused on new companions that thematically fit Kreia’s gray‑morality narrative.
Canon-wise, some K1 companions’ fates were left intentionally vague to preserve player choice. Mission, Zaalbar, Jolee, Juhani, and most of the Council weren’t used so Revan’s light/dark decisions wouldn’t be contradicted and to keep the story centered on the Exile. 🎮✨
