I definitely remember her. Hell, I used to watch The Sonny and Cher Show back in the day.

I was never a huge fan but she did have some good songs. I just never thought she was a diva. And I never thought she was all that good looking, despite all her makeup and revealing outfits.

I didn't care that much for the distinctive vocal style she developed. But I'm not saying she couldn't sing and, again, she recorded some good songs.

That's just my personal opinion.

Oh yeah, she had a great career despite her husband Sonny Bono who turned out to be a shitty husband and a pretty shitty skier who tried to make love to a lodgepole pine tree.

She had a powerful distinct voice for a female singer. I didn't love all her work but when she had a song that fit her voice she could absolutely nail it.
