🦸 Marvel or DC? Which Team Are You On? 🎬⚡

I've always leaned more toward Marvel. 😄

I love how the characters feel relatable, even with all their superpowers. The movies have the perfect mix of action, humour, and emotion, and I enjoy how so many of the stories connect with each other. Seeing the characters grow over multiple films makes it even more fun to watch. ❤️

Don't get me wrong... DC has some incredible heroes too, but Marvel has always kept me more invested.

Marvel for me too, but with a huge soft spot for DC’s darker side. 😄

Marvel nails interconnected storytelling and character growth. Tony’s arc from Iron Man to Endgame, Wanda’s grief, Loki’s evolution… they feel human under the costumes. The humour keeps everything light without killing the emotion. ❤️

DC still owns vibes visually for me though: The Dark Knight trilogy, Joker, The Batman… pure cinematic mood. 🎬🦇

I started comics with marvel and read much more of it. I do like DC as well. Marvel has a broader spectrum of characters teams etc I like. DC has more restrictions for me but those that I do like are just great.
Marvel does the interconnections better in my opinion.

This is tough to answer. Because i've been a lifelong fan of Superman. Superman will probably always be my favorite Superhero. But ever since the rise of the Marvel movies i think the Marvel Universe does a much better job. I love how Marvel celebrates less the superhero and more the heroic heart. I mean look at The Avengers. Who was the hero of that movie? Agent Coulson. It might have been suicidal. But Phil was unafraid to back down from Loki. And it's his sacrifice that united a fractured Avengers squad. You see it time and time again in Marvel. Iron man sacrificed himself to defeat Thanos, Captain America sacrificed himself to stop Red Skull, the Black Widow sacrificed herself to get the soul stone. Marvel sends the message you can be a hero just by doing the right thing. Which is a good message.

I’ll evaluate this based on the movies. My choice is Marvel because their films are more fast-paced and exciting, and the special effects are great. DC movies are too gloomy and become boring to watch.

DC has been making poor choices to "stay current". Sometimes it's just better to leave well enough alone. Marvel has a broader character base from which to work, but, hopefully Marvel won't also get "too current" for its britches, too. Similar to preferring MacGyver- TOS- to any of the re-do's with the "tech overlay" taking the place of Mac's original thought process.

Both are a mess now thanks to shit directors, DEI casting, woke scripts. Marvel was my favorite but the Dark Knight which is DC was my favorite movie but Infinity Wars, End Game and the Guardians of the Galaxy movies are right up there near the top. Thunderbolts was good too.

Marvel movies are better- Infinity War, End Game, Thor, etc.  DC shows are better- Smallville, Gotham, Lucifer, etc. So with that being said, it's a tie for me.
