I used to be a Diehard DC fan and pains me to say that marvel movies seem much better than DC these days.. They seem more planned out story, character wise.. especially with the post credit scenes which kind of give some hints to what's to be seen in the future movies.. with DC though I feel its gone abit downhill over the years and the story seems all over the place especially with batman vs superman, and the crappy non Zack Snyder Justice League version.. although I did love man of steel though 😍 I think Henry Cavil is one of the better portrayed superman's..
I mean Marvel has already built a whole story leading to Thanos and the ''snap'' but DC seems really behind with their story, like we've seen Darkseid like twice? 🤨
I'm more into directors than comic universes for films. So I love James Gunn, for example, with the new Suicide Squad (2021) as well as his work for the Marvel Universe with Guardians of the Galaxy.
I'm never been a fan of Zack Snyder. He might be too visual for my tastes; I'm character-oriented. Sucker Punch pissed me off so much but so do most of his films with the exception of his Dawn of the Dead remake which he didn't write.
Meanwhile, I really like Taika Waititi (director of Thor: Ragnarok) but I don't care for Marvel so much either.
I just liked the older X-Men movies and 1990s cartoon series from Marvel and then Batman the Dark Knight trilogy from DC. Oh and the Deadpool movies. Other than those, I'm not too interested in any of it.
