I like gothic art. It looks like build of bones and skulls and painting look like covers of Cannibal Corpse albums.
I prefer the greater relative realism of the 1700s to the 1300s, though I give props to the works of the 1300s.

But for beauty, craft, and drama, the Renaissance (15th–16th century) is unmatched: Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, incredible churches and frescoes.
