Good take, I agree. There is nothing wrong with being friends, but do not cling to dead hopes and dreams.
Its not actually that simple. I have had cases where she's like "Oh, she's is just a friend" and when i start seeing someone, then that friend starts to flirt with me. Im like "WTF? Are you try to get me in trouble?"
I really hate the overly optimistic "you're enough for someone else" or "there's someone out there for everyone" bs. There's not, stop throwing that in there.
The fact is no one actually knows if there is someone out there for them or not until they either find them or they are dead in the ground. It's up to everybody to believe in that or not, but I think even the most bitter man or woman out there, not in a relationship, probably would rather go the hope route than doom and gloom, nobody will ever love me.
that only exists for women. men fall on them like snowflakes.
You could've dropped the entire first two paragraphs and just stuck with, "Dear Guys in the friend zone"!
the only way out of the friendzone is to stop being friends. can't be in the friendzone, if you're not friends to begin with.
Is it possible to start off as a dating prospect and then get relegated to the friend zone? I feel like I have had that experience.
Getting friend zoned is bad.
Not getting out of it because you hope beyond all hope that she will love is the worst thing out there.
Nice, the same ole advice given to guys a d gals for quite a long time that neither pays attention to, anyway.
No man should tolerate the friend zone. If she curbs you, move on.
The so-called Friendzone is 100% voluntary.
I concur.
No way would I ever have a woman for a friend. I'd sooner drink strychine. I have a little friendzone of my own, and women don't get anywhere near it because they can't be trusted with anything.
men and women are never friends. if she won't date you, leave
There's less than zero chance I'd ever be friends with a girl
Agree with every word.
Nice take
