CASSANDRA WINGATTE BROWN - I LOVE YOU!!

It's hard to see through all my tears
And visualize my inner fears
Have I really lost the one I love
Sent to us from heaven above
Her mom and dad were Angels rare
With Hearts of Gold and full of care
Life is short and moments are precious
Let's show our love while each are still with us
Will my shattered heart yet ever mend
Cassie I so miss you my dearest friend
Your life was hard, you suffered much
God's love is yours, you now feel his touch
Although I so wish I could take your place
I will be with you soon when I too finish my race

I LOVE YOU and Miss You Cassie more then you will ever know!

This is a life ended far too soon, for no reason that we can accept as adequate, and the sadness of such events casts a darkness that I don't want to experience. You have my sympathies.

Very beautiful poem and sentiments. I am very sorry for your loss. Has an online obituary been posted? I would welcome the opportunity to provide a donation to a cause she cared about in her memory - and often those are noted in their obituary. Thoughts and prayers.

I have looked for her obituary but haven't been able to find it so I don't know.

Ah ok well if you are in touch with her mother maybe she can help? It's very touching that, as you shared, her mother is monitoring her social media - including GaG. I hope she is seeing lots of love and support. And I hope you are doing well in this time of grief.

@laurieluvsit It is the least I can do. In light of how minor the situation seemed, do you wonder why she asked her adopted mother to contact you? It seems almost clairvoyant.

She didn't feel she was going to make it on the day before she went into the coma and asked her mom to notify all her friends who she loved just in case. Unfortunately she was right.
