I try to surround myself with people specifically who can live a life of not talking bad about people as if it were a hobby

Everyone shittalks everyone. People love to gossip and people love to listen to gossip. Even if some people won't admit to loving it, deep down it makes them feel better about themselves.

Right. I have noticed it in my own family. People usually only back up people that they like sometimes they back up the people that are in the wrong. Sometimes it doesn't matter who is wrong or right but who is the person and if they like them.
