I'm 16... and ever since I was like 13ish...my stepdad would come into my room and I'd wake up and he'd like just be standing there and then he'd leave...Just recently though ill wake up and he's kneeling next to the bed or he's rubbing on my butt, or under the covers messing around my panties..

He keeps touching on my butt, and grabbing me close to him... then he'll keep saying stuff when no one's around like..

"Your so beautiful"

"I can't help myself around you."

And he's always trying to give me massages and foot rubs... and once I let him rub my back because I was real sore...but he kept reaching out to my thighs and trying to reach my breast from under my shirt.

I don't know what to do...He's been married to my mom for 2yrs. and they have two kids..together.. I've tried to tell her about it like a year or two ago, but she wouldn't listen to me...she's really stressed out now and won't listen to any problems I have..

Am I looking too much into this?

No, no NO! You are NOT looking too much into this. If your Mom won't listen to you, talk to a school social worker or possibly the police.

What he's doing is wrong. I know that you're probably concerned that this will ruin the family or your step-fathers relationship to the family, but you need to think about your younger siblings. In a couple of years you will probably go off to college and leave all this behind, and then who do you think your step-dad will take his unhealthy habits out on?

You owe it not only to yourself, but to your family's safety and integrity to tell someone. DO NOT BE ASHAMED! You do nothing wrong and it is unfortunate that you have to stand up and be the strong one, but you must.

Your stepdad is disgusting. He is completely wrong and he knows it too. You are not looking too much into it, your feelings are completely valid. Honestly your mom is trifling as hell for not listening to you. If she isn't going to step up and do her job then you have to tell someone else. This man deserves to be in jail, he's a child molester. People like him often don't only have 1 victim, likely you are not the only girl he has done this to. Tell someone so he can be punished and not do this to anyone else.

She needs to know. If she doesn't listen, go to another relative. If that's not an option go to the authorities. What he's doing is wrong and it needs to stop before it turns into anything else.

Additionally, I just want to add that anytime I hear a child molestation victim say anything to the effect of "I've tried to tell her about it like a year or two ago, but she wouldn't listen to me" it makes me want to punch their parent in the face.

You should tell a close friend, a family member (maybe your grandparents), or maybe talk to someone at school like your guidance couselor to get help.
