How do I tell my brother I'm on my period and he needs to buy me tampons?

My parents are on business trip and I am at my brothers house, I just started my period and I'm running out of tampons. I've just been staying in bed because I don't feel well and he keeps coming asking me what's wrong. How do I tell him I'm on my period and need to buy some tampons. This is so awkward and embarrassing.

Just tell him. For some reason my sisters were embarassed too and I couldn't figure out why because I didn't think it was a big deal. I mean if I was having the Hershey squirts I would never be afraid to ask my sister to run to the store and get me some pesto and toilet paper lol. I'm sure he knows girls start bleeding at a certain age and if he's too dan immature to help you out then your brother is a serious prick.

How about something like "I sorry to have to ask this, because I know it isn't something guys like doing. I don't feel well, and I really need you to go to the store and pick up some tampons." That way he shouldn't react like he thinks you are making fun of him, and have no choice but to ask him for help. I can't imagine him not doing it for his sister that clearly needs them.

Just tell him. I have a sister and I am here to help her. I had to buy her pads before. It wasn't awkward really. It beats needing to buy someone adult diapers, because with those, someone may think they are for me. Just tell him straight up. It wwon't be awkward if you don't make it.

Welcome to adulthood. You can bleed all over your sheets in embarrassment or you can get the courage to ask your brother for the money for your personal hygiene issues. You could also ask him to get them for you. That is what family does for one another. You shouldn't be embarrassed to ask.
