Okay, so I asked a question before about a cute guy who works at the Starbucks in the mall that I work at, and I've been working there for like 7 months. I like him, but I just found out he has a girlfriend (I saw him with his arm around a girl and hugging on her)

But whenever I go to get coffee and I'm in line, I see him notice me and smile at me even when there are a few customers ahead of me, and when he rings me up he's asking how my day is going and jokes around and is very friendly and smiley.

Am I missing something here? Am I just imagining that he likes me or what?

he tends to use my first name a bit when he talks to me. Granted I have my name tag on, but he's always like "how are you today kelly" or "bye kelly"

I'm in a relationship and I still flirt with girls all the time. Its not that I want to cheat on my girlfriend it just boosts my ego when they flirt back. Or maybe he's just being nice. Or maybe he's into you. Maybe come in the mall on your day off and hang out at starbucks when he's working. Smile at him and see if he comes over to you. Or maybe find out where he parks and make sure you run into him one day out in the parking lot or something. See how he acts then. You're kinda hot so I can see why he would like you. Good luck

That all makes sense. I'm gonna try and be more conversational. I'm flirtatious but shy around him, and so next time I'm there I'm actually gonna ask how he's doing and be a little more flirtatious. I don't think flirting hurts a thing, after all I don't know his side of the story. All I can do is still be friendly and maybe try a little harder

Okay, how about this? I'm kinda sick today so I walk over to the shop on my break. He asks how I'm doing and I ask how he's doing. I tell him I'm not feeling well and I ask for a tea. So as he's making it we keep talkin. After he makes it he offers me some extra honey packages and as I leave tells me to feel better.

I mean it could just him being genuinely nice, but I don't really know. I mean, he's got a girl, I'm sure he's happy with her.

Yeah I think maybe he's into you. Just ask him if he's interested. If you don't you'll never know for sure. Thae worst that can happen is he says he's not and at least then you'll know

I saw him yesterday and he was chatting me up before he got my coffee. We got on the subject of school and we found out that we both go to the local college and he's like "well I never see you there. do you have classes in the mornings?" Then told me the days he's got classes.

Then we talked about our majors, I told him mine was nuring and he seemed pretty enthusiastic, saying things like "ooh isn't that in high demand?"

I saw both as him wanting to seem interested. what do you think?

Id say just go for it and talk to him. I understand you're shy but you just gotta do it. I'm shy too and I regret not talking to every girl I've had a thing for. If you don't talk to him you'll always wonder why. You don't have to ask him out just see if he wants to hang out sometime

Well he alwyas makes an effort to talk to me beforehe takes my order, he always remembers my name even when I'm not wearing my name tag, always calls me by my name "hey kelly" kinda thing.
