Question

I went out with friends and I got a ride home but my parents thought I was at one particular friends house, but I wasn't I told them otherwise because they never let me go out so I said I was going to my girl friends house and instead me and my girl-friend went to another friends house, and I got a ride home (which I did) just not by her parents but by another friends parent and I asked my brother to open the door because I texted him and my dad opened the door and dragged me inside and punched me in the face and my nose is bleeding and he dragged me upstairs by my hair and threw me in my room and said I'm in big trouble

Eh. My dad used to be like that too. And my older siblings were like that too with the younger siblings.(Surprisingly my mother never hit us) I don't see it as the worst thing in the world. But hitting in the face is not cool by me.
You can either choose to call the cops, though I think that's a little drastic. I'm not 100% sure based on the description you gave. So I cannot tell if that'd be the best move for you. Unless he has signs that he's done that before. But if it's his first time, Idk. I know my family was strict sometimes when they were living with me and I was younger. It'd be awkward to have them arrested just for them to come out and make it even more awkward and possibly dangerous. If he has done this more than once, for sure call cuz it's a pattern.
But if you don't call the cops. There's really nothing else you can do but talk to your mom and dad.

Man that's harsh shyt right there. I got bitch slapped so hard once by my dad in front of my friends that he made my nose bleed I tackled the SHYT out of my dad. He knew not to EVER put his hands on me again, I was 15 at the time, I supposedly "talked back" smh. My mom didn't do anything about it and I was about to call the cops but nope my mom didn't let me. Shame anyway my dad never hit me after that, he knows I don't play anymore. I wouldn't tolerate ANY of that crap though. LIKE ZERO!

I'm so sorry! Look no matter what happened it's not ok for a man to hit a girl. there's not much that can be done right now unless you wanna get the police involved. If you don't want to get police involved, maybe a school councilor could help? Other than that these situations are hard to resolve. Let your dad cool down, and try to keep your distance. I'm so sorry this happened. That's is awful and what you did wasn't even that bad.

Your father needs some serious help. He needs cognitive training to get him to deal with his anger in better ways. Medication might not hurt either. If this has been going on as long as you say, he will likely need long term therapy.

Personally I would call the police and get him arrested and charged. Have the court order him to get professional help. Have the doctor submit a progress report to the courts every couple months. If there is not enough progress after a designated length of time, he goes to jail. If he miss an appointment without a legitimate, verifiable excuse. He goes to jail.

In jail he must continue with the therapy and does not get out until the dr. thinks he is stable enough. As well, when he. gets out have a court order in place that he will have to stay the f**k away from you.

oh my dad he is prick too and never loved me, only loves my sister cause she has a daughter
which is his only grand-daughter , i never see none of them cause of course i am treated like a
outcast. I hope things get better for you and if your dads hurting you i hope you can tell someone
rather than to continue to be hurt but i do understand when your in predicament that it's hard
to get away i feel sorry for all the abuse kids have to encounter , i like this website but i see lot

Your Dad sounds like an ass. Sorry you have that in your life. You shouldn't be sneaking around but no one deserves to be hit especially by their own family. You need to go to the police. You don't want this to happen again and you don't want to have to carry this the rest of your life either. It sucks, it definitely sucks. But the hard part is standing up for yourself the first time.
