Is it weird to go to an amusement park with a guy friend?

I really love amusement parks, and I have two free tickets to go, so I wanted to bring my good friend. Problem is, some of my other friends act like going to an amusement park as a guy-girl pair is only for couples. And if the implication of that is a date, I don't want to confuse him, because he used to really like me (possibly still does) and I don't want to make it weird...

So... is it a date kind of thing? Or is it totally normal for a guy and girl to go as just friends?

I've had friends who did this and even did this myself (went with a female friend). It was not weird at all. Just tell him that you're simply inviting him to chill and have some fun at this park. I'm sure he won't take it as a date or anything like that.

I do things like this with a good female friend of mine. Say it's as friends if you think he'll get the wrong idea, he'll be happy to come either way.

I don't see why a boy and girl who are friends can't go somewhere together. My female cousin and I used to hang out all the time when we were younger. There was nothing wrong with that.

He will fall in love with you'd still. When you are talking he will be looking at your lips and then imagining you naked. This is going to create problems.
