Is it weird for two guys to go to the movies together?

I've gotten several opinions from my guy friends and they all told me they wouldn't go to the movies with another guy unless it was a double date with there girlfriends it's like a "guy code" and it's something guys don't do very often the reason I asked is this guy I was interested in told me he went to the movies and I asked him who he went with and he told me he went with his guy friend but he felt the need to emphasize that they didn't sit right next to one another it was sort of a turn off and come to find out the guy he went with is rumored to be bi-sexual so that just turned me completely off

I trully don't really see anything wrong with two guys going to the movie unless your going to the movies more with your "guyfriend" then a female friend everyone is entitled to there own opinion but the only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was when the guy he went with is bi-sexual that raised some questions in my head and in this day in time when there is a lot of men who are still not comfortable with being openly gay or bi and try to hide it then yes I'm going to have questions...

Most of the time I go with a group of friends, sometimes all guys, sometimes more girls than guys, but I've gone with just my best friend before many times. There's nothing wrong with that. You're guy friend needs to get over it.

My male friends say the same thing. One time me and two males were going to go to the cinema, but I almost couldn't go. One of them said they would have to cancel it if I didn't, or it would be gay lol

i went with a friend once and because he wanted to see the same movie it was STAR TREK NEMESIS he paid for his ticket and I paid for mine but I go to movies now completely alone ... it doesn't always mean they guys are gay ... just friends

I'm big enough that i fill the seat and at least my arm spills over the arm rest if I'm not conscious of it and i wouldn't want any part of me contacting the dude beside me. Also two teens going to see a movie is one thing but two adult males and i think people at the theater would wonder.

But seriously, no, it's not weird. Going to a movie by myself feels weirder than anything. If hanging out or eating with a friend is okay, I don't see why watching a movie wouldn't be.
