How to discreetly find out if a girl has a boyfriend?

how can I get a girl to tell me if she has a boyfriend or she is seeing somone without her know what I'm after :)

i've answered a similar question before but before I get into that, why can't she know what you're after? and what exactly are you after? do you want to go out with her or do you just want to hook up with her?

if you like her, she'd still have to find that out if she doesn't have a boyfriend, or it'll be hard to get with her.

the only way this could be bad (if she finds out), is if she is not interested and is not mature enough to not make hanging around you quiet and awkward.

so if she knows and is interested--> you're set

if she knows and is not interested --> things might end up awkward so if you're decent friends that's a bad situation, but if you're not then it doesn't matter because it doesn't hurt you chances of getting with her any more than they already are..

anyyywayy. that being said, I assume you've already checked fb status because that's the first thing does and it's probably not listed. if you haven't, add her. if you talk to her once in a while and you've known her for a couple of weeks at least, it's not that strange to add her, as long as you don't start littering her wall and statuses and pictures with flirty or seemingly friendly comments.

so different tactic instead. talk to her about some sort of activity, where you already assume she has a boyfriend. for example, if you're talking about a movie, ask her about chick flicks (I hate that term but whatever), and say I saw that with an ex once and it was pretty good, I'd recommend it to you and your boyfriend, even if he doesn't like chickflicks.

-if she says she doesn';t have one, why did you think she does? you say oh, I thought you said that once, didn't u? no, I guess I assumed or something? I don't actually know, weird. then change topic non-chalantly, "well either way, it's a good movie. especially cause I hate chick flicks. but anything with ______ and I'm so there, etcetcetc"

-if she says she does, she might assume she's mentioned it already, or that you heard from someone. she wouldn't mention it, or if she asks, be like "idk, I thought you mentioned once. maybe not (pretty much same thing as above)"

if she's doing something later or that weekend, or she did something last night, and she's being coy and not giving details, tease her: "oh no, its cool, I get it, you and the boyfriend needed some downtime- I understand". but this isn't as surefire, because if that's not the case she would deny it, but it doesn't mean if she has a boyfriend that she will say so. in fact, if she denies it but doesn't specify whether there is a boyfriend after all, then there probably is. if she denies it and says nah, no bf... well then you know.

in general ask her a lot what she did that weekend or last night, etc. if she has a boyfriend she will mention him at one point --> unless she makes sure not to mention him BECAUSE she is restless in the relationship and on the lookout for guys she might be interested in, and if she keeps it from you, then you are one of them. but that's dangerous territory.

From my experience you don't really have to ask her. If she does she'll tell you at some point. But if she doesn't and she likes you she'll make herself seem available exclusively to you.

She could also make herself available and seem to like him, and yet have a boyfriend. then he falls more and more for her and is then crushed to find out she DOES. it's not a good tactic just to wait around to find out.
