My mom's boyfriend comes to have a "sleep over" with my mom every Sunday. Our house is very small and my mom sleeps in the living room while i have my own room. My room is right next to the living room. I'm 16 and i sometimes i wake up, because of the voices my mom and her boyfriend makes. I always have to put on my headphones and listen to music so i wouldn't hear the moans and slaps. What do I do? Because of this, i'm always sleepy in school and I feel hurt because i would't do something like this with my girlfriend/boyfriend if my other family members are at home. I feel really bad and disrespected.

hey girl hard times come and go. I feel your pain. I had a rough past. my mom is a hooker and my dad is a pimp. The best way to get out of that house was my education. I made myself clear that either I will be a criminal or a successful person. I scored 2300 in SAT test and did my undergrad at MIT in economics with huge grants. I lived the hell for 17 years but now I am being someone better. I did internship at Goldman Sachs and got a pre placement offer from the bank and I am in my final year. I look for people like you all over internet and try to speed the message of power that education holds.
try to spend as much time in school after classes to study and for extracurriculars and do some summer jobs and don't let your mom give you wrong message. all the best and always be optimistic and believe in a power that exists in nature. I love you and I wish I could meet you and talk out this problem.
