Is it wrong to ask someone if I can tag along?

It isn't wrong to ask. We humans are social beings, we need groups. So ask if you can join, but if you feel a bad vibe from them, I'd suggest you move along. You'll be better off alone rather than with people who don't appreciate you. If they don't want you, their loss.

Like if they suddenly walk away when you come or become silent all of a sudden if you enter. It may be different, but if you feel like they don't want you there, just go. I'm sure you're a good person, and there'll be tons of people who are actually interested in you and want to have you around. Hang out with them.

No it's right to ask, it would be wrong to just tag along without asking. But if I know I'm unwanted, I wouldn't even want to ask.
