Is it ok for my boyfriend to be friends with past hookups and flings if he has a history of cheating?

We aren't talking serious relationships from the past... just trying to maintain "friendships" with random girls he slept with or maybe went on a couple dates with. He says it would be compromising himself to give up these "friendships", I see it as keeping past lovers on the back burner so he doesn't burn any bridges for later.

He cheated on me (1.5 years ago) so that adds to my suspicion of these past women haunting my current relationship. I believe once a line has been crossed (i.e. sex) it is WAY easier to to cross that line again. You've seen each other naked... you can't just "friend" that away!

If you don't like, tell him and if he doesn't think it's a big deal well than you should break up with him. You have a reason that's justifiable for him not to be friends with them for your sake. And you're right, he's seen them naked and slept with them, there's no way you can just be friends after that.

well if you don't like it you shouldn't be with him. that's how his life is and you shouldn't try to change people.
