Hot tub date night with another couple?

This weekend my boyfriend and I are going to double date with a friend of mine and her boyfriend. We are going out for dinner then coming over to chill in the hot tub for a few hours.

We haven't talked about what anyone plans to wear. Should it be brought up? My boyfriend is usually naked and I'm either topless or naked. I don't know what our friends wear or plan to so I think it should maybe be talked about?

What should i do I do or have anyone else had this experience?

Also! This is my boyfriends and I's tub. They are getting invited over. We aren't going to them.

I can tell you right now, my girlfriend would be pissed and want to leave immediately if our hosts invited us over for hot tub time and got in there naked or topless. I can already hear her after we get in the car..."we are never hanging out with them again!"

Definitely check before hand. I don't even know why that would be a question?

My fiancee told. me. that in her past she and her man at the time we're invited like this to a couple. friends hot tub a d drinking she went in with them all naked.
And she was surprised at my reaction. Saying g it was in my past. Now I've lidded with her of taking her in out boat to a nude sandbar and she said no way. Then I hear this. I've been trying g to get past this

Just tell them that you don't usually wear swimwear in the tub. You can blame it on the phosphorus from the soap and fibers from the fabric gumming up the filters. If they don't want to go nude you'll have to respect that, but that doesn't mean you can't try to talk them into it.

I think the logical thing would be swimming costumes, I'd expect them to bring some too since it's not a porn film :P They're probably not gonna wanna come and get naked in your hot tub, so no need to make a big deal out of what to wear, y'know?

Wear a swimsuit and take their lead. If someone invited me to their home and got naked I'd be hightailing it out. Until this becomes a semi/regular thing I wouldn't be bringing up nudity

I'd wait a bit, after the fourth get together is bring it up if they haven't. It shows you've respected their boundaries as guests and that it isn't about sex, it's about comfort and your normal behaviour in your home

That's a good idea. Normal behavior is nude since it's outside and private with a fence. After a few times and you were asked would you be for it or not? Or would you ever initiate the question?

You should probably discuss it because the other couple is probably going to be wearing swimming attire and it would be rather awkward if the two of you were naked.

I would just ask them ahead of time, "we like to be naked, is this a problem?" Or, if you're not comfortable asking, go prepared with swim suits and follow their lead when the time comes. I've never experienced a hot tube date night unfortunately, it would be awesome! Especially if we were all comfortable being naked!

In that situation I would tell them before getting in the tub that you and your guy usually do not wear anything in the tub, but you will wear suits if they prefer, No surprises, no pressure.

Very glad you enjoyed it. I once went to a party where there were many people. The hot tub was on the opposite side of the house from the main group and those in the hot tuba all went naked. But then we sometimes went around to the other side where the food was. But everyone had fun.

Just tell them. "By the way, we don't wear suits in the tub. It clogs the filter over time." Let them decide. We're going to our friends house tonight for the same thing. In 35 years of tubbing with them we've never worn a stitch. Whats the point? It's usually pretty dark and all your bits are under water. Besides, all of you have seen breasts, penises, vulvas, and butts before. What's the big deal? (BTW all 4 of us are nudists so it's really not a thing for us.)

I think my guy pulled his shorts off under the water, then the other guys did, then one by one the other 2 girls did, so I did too. There wasn't really anything said. its was more like, oh well, I guess I will too.
