To hot tub or not to hot tub? first date need all opinions esp. men

i met this guy at a bar he lives four hours away

we have been texting/skyping for two weeks

he is coming to visit and staying in a hotel

he mentioned the hottubs, so my question is

If he invites me to hottub at some point and I accept will this be giving away too much too soon? I do not want him to lose interest

It depends on the context of the messages from him. If he seems genuinely interested in you as a person, then the hot tub could just be the best thing he could think of, for a first date. If his messages have been seemingly friend with benefits oriented, then you can expect him to make an attempt at sexualizing things in hopes of getting some nookie from you. Honestly a hot tub is more for future dates, after you’ve gotten comfortable enough with him. Most importantly , you have to decide for yourself what you want from him, and what exactly your seeking in him, if you want a fling, then a hot tub would be fine. If your looking for him to take you serious, and respect you and your body, then a hot tub is probably the worst place for you to be with him, plus it makes you look easy.

Yeah I don't think this is a good idea for the first date, he wants to see your body and if you have a nice one he will try something, that's fine if you wanna go there but if you don't then do something else. Leave that to the imagination.
