What does frisky mean to you? Do you ever use that word?

I used frisky (to mean lively) in a sentence recently and the person I was speaking to assumed I meant something sexual!!

I was so embarrassed.

Do you ever use that word and what is your understanding of the meaning?

I looked it up in the dictionary too and I have definitely used it correctly but seems that some also use that word to mean that you’re feeling “sexual”.

Because that does mean something sexual. A person who is saying that you or that person is wild with sex or in bed. The overall dictionary has nothing to do with that because that word has been around long enough to mean that in a sexual manner. It's one thing to say an animal is frisky, but to say that to a person, your basically saying your wild in that manner. The social definition has changed drastically, the same way Gay means your happy, not you being a homosexual man/woman.

I see the word Frisk, so I think of Sans giving Frisk a nickname.

It's regional. Here down by the border of mex it means aroused or playful.
