What does "fond" mean to you?

My boyfriend said he is "fond" of me when we were texting. We were discussing our next date this weekend and he said, " Yuh always, blueberry pie after than?:p Karen I am very fond of you."

It means that he really likes you! Not necessarily romantically, but I don't think "just friends" say that to each other much haha

That's what I figured, it's a way for him to say he has strong feelings for you, without saying he loves you. Because he doesn't love you just yet, but that's perfectly normal, because don't fall in love as fast as girls do.
