I have always been closer to my dad

I actually love them both equally, but id say im the slightest bit closer with my mom. She’s a stay at home mom for several years now due to her health, and she’s the first person I interact with during the day. I only see my dad in the mornings before he leaves for work, late at night when he gets back, and the weekends. But he plays golf, and that takes up a lot of daytime, so I don’t see him much during them either. But I’m still very close with him too. Just not as much as my mom. Something strange is that I also argue with my mom a lot lol. We get over it quickly and the arguments rise up from nowhere, but at the end of the day, we’re close.

My mom.

My dad is too distant from me. He rarely calls me and he's the kind of person who says something and does the opposite (not trustworthy). Plus, he drinks and become verbally violent. Basically more of an antimodel for me, but other than that we are on decent terms.

My dad because ever since i can remember my mom has been mentally ill and I know that's not a reason to not be close but she makes up all this crazy stuff in her head and my dad would always pull us aside and reassure us everything okay. I think my mom has bipolar, paranoid schizophrenia and split personality disorder and thats just scraping the surface.

I've always been closer to my mom. Growing up, my dad left for work between 7-8 in the morning and only ever got back for dinner. We didn't spend a lot of time together... and yet I spent all day doing school with my mom (I was homeschooled).

My dad too he just makes me feel so protected and loved as my mom is a bit selfish and has tell me that doesn't like when I interact in any way with her boyfriend like she's getting jealous of me wtf? Plus I have a girlfriend so more wtf? Also my mom doesn't support me being queer

My Dad. He doesn't lecture me. He also knows how to have fun.  My mum lectures like crazy whether i deserve it or not. She's serving my sister a lecture fresh outta the oven right now...
