It's true, guys are super shallow, all of us only want sex and don't care about anything except attractive people. We have no emotions and things like pain, sadness, sorrow, friendship, romance, and other "human" emotions are completely beneath us...
I feel like if you really just put yourself in a person's shoes... a guy.. or a girl... or just someone you're curious about... you might be able to understand them more...
that is to say in a less kind way... how in the heck do you even come to the point where you think that ALL guys are that shallow?
NO more importantly why do you care about something as egotistically force fed and suffocating as "is she prettier than me"
there is no such thing as ugly... only an ugly point of view
if some guy or girl, or YOURSELF somehow thinks that a person is just less attractive than a person, I want you to say that outloud and listen to the disgusting words coming out of your mouth.
"that person who was born with no will over how they looked is based on the light coming into my very self righteous eyes less deserving of the praise i call "attractive" because of the way my brain has been programmed by my ignorant self and those around me to sense certain patterns that a hand full of assholes 100s of years ago called "pretty"
even if you call yourself ugly you're just being an idiot...
Good question though.. no such thing as stupid questions just stupid people02 Reply
Asker+1 yWow you really misunderstood the simple question I am asking - wasn’t trying to offend anyone
- +1 y
I'm very sorry if I seemed angry or offended... I was definitely very angry but not offended because i had nothing at stake... anyways I did understand the question I just felt like offering metaphysical life advice in a manner that would provoke you into action, or rather shame you into action. =3 but instead you missed it and commented on "how" i said what i said instead of "WHAT" or "WHY" i said these very deliberately thought out seemingly cruel words...
BUT i must say you do seem to have an understanding of de-escalating a situation... that's something I havn't seen in a while... regardless why not give me a chance and re-read my words and ask yourself did i really misunderstand or was offended? and don't worry I won't turn this into some long battle or try to be right or anything...
im just offering my self righteous advice in an assholic (token word) way just for fun ^^

+1 yBeta cuck males pretend to be a girls friend because they know if they straight up go for the score... they'll get rejected. Basically they're hoping to build up an emotional attachment from the friend zone in order to warrant a mercy fuck. A certain percentage of them also do it in order to lull their prey into a moment of weakness from which they will pounce and take advantage.
As for your boyfriend and his new friends... I hold one golden rule when it comes to friends at all, same or different sex. "What is the common interest?" Friendship is based off a common interest... so... what is it? I'm sorry but if the exchange is just him trying to get laid and her liking the attention... he's one of those beta cuck guys I just described from the start.
I'm not slamming beta cuck dudes here... their mating strategy seems to be working. It's just... they're really fake. Unlike me they don't go for the strong... they prey upon weak females that have validation issues or happen to be attention seekers for much of the same reasons.
Anyways... common interest... they play musical instruments, shoot guns, or... is it some bullshit? That's the question you should be asking with each of these 'new' friends that come around.22 Reply
Asker+1 yThey have common interests of exercise, I hate it so he enjoys to go for runs with them and stuff since he doesn’t have any guy friends that are into it as much as he is
- +1 y
Okay, there's a common interest... although we've all seen the guy that worksout with chicks. We know what he's up to. The one's taking their workouts seriously don't need any company to meet their physical goals. Plus he's a dude right? what, does he run like a girl?
I'd keep an eye out for the common interest to suddenly overflow into lunch dates and other things... I don't know, like shopping or something. "I sometimes give her a ride" I believe is the usual excuse I use... and yes, I bang my hawt side chicks instead of going to class here and there.

+1 yNo.
Basically there's a social theory called the Ladder Theory that says that men put women on a single ladder, the highest level being "would bang and brag about it", and the lowest level being "would bang, while drunk, but would not brag about it".
It means that men see all women as possible mates.
Women on the other hand put men on two different ladders, one for possible mates, the other for platonic companionship.
So no, guys don't befriend attractive girls, they also befriend the landwhale in order to get some if they're desperate enough.00 Reply
+1 yI would be friends with a pretty girl.. My sexual part of me isn't really linked normally. I don't desire things I can't have so if I don't feel a sexual connection or will be wanted in that sexual way, I won't get sexual at all.. I'm just the selfish type... That's all
00 ReplyI believe that not all guys are only friends with attractive girls. And even if their female friends are good looking doesn't mean that the guy is looking at her in that way. I have many female friends and yes a lot of them are very attractive young women. But I would never look at them as potentially more. If I did I wouldn't be just friends with them.
00 ReplyI voted yes even though it’s not true.
Guys are equally happy to be friends with attractive and unattractive girls.
However: a lot of male female friendships are initiated or sustained by guys who were attracted to a girl so made an effort to get to know her and be friendly, but they never tried going beyond that.10 Reply
+1 yHonestly, it could be the case because all of my close female friends are relatively attractive. But I have actually met very few unattractive girls in my life, and the only one I can actually think of right now was probably the most judgmental, radical, crazy and overally just rude and mean type of third-wave feminist. Think if trigglypuff had a blonde twin.

+1 yIf someone isn't attractive, it creates an obstacle to friendship. But obstacles can definitely be overcome. I have some female friends who are not stereotypically attractive but they're my friends because of our shared interests.

+1 yI have plenty of unattractive female friends. I might be less inclined to go meet someone who is unattractive, but that's irrelevant because I haven't really gone out of my way to any great degree to meet anyone.
01 Reply- +1 y
Actually, no I have gone out of my way, but it was to meet someone like a professor at a college I'm considering or something like that.
I am attractive, no problem there, and I usually go out on a friends basis with some average to less attractive girls—sometimes it goes farther. I don’t give a crap what anyone thinks.
00 ReplyGuys only hunt attractive girls for the obvious. Being friends with someone is more about sharing interests, trusting, and feeling the ability to be open with them.
10 ReplyI find it funny that the male votes are 83% no, 17% yes, and the female votes are 50%/50%. Shows who cares about looks and who doesn't haha
00 ReplyMost of my friends that are girls are those I do not find attractive in the slightest. But they have a great personality I get along with.

+1 yNo, i just don't befriend a girl cause she's pretty.
10 ReplyIf it's a girl I'm interested in of course I'm gonna try to be her friend first and foremost, genuinely. But I have "attractive" friends that are girls that are just friends.

+1 yNo but we do try to hang out with attractive girls to see if they are interested in dating us.
00 Reply Every female that in "Friends with" i at one point in time wanted a relationship with... So I would say yeah. This isn't always the case though

+1 yAll I can say is, for me, if I don't have romantic interest in her then we have to hang out as a group and never 1v1.

+1 yI would not say all of my friends are attractive, but I would have sex with all of them.

Yeah totally, it's not like I think of sex as an act of trust or anything.
+1 yI don't really have female friends. At least none that really act like friends.
