Had that problem but he gave me the credit which made me okay with it, then I just feed him jokes for him to tell (he is a close friend) but as I got more social it got easier. Just remember to think it through and it has to be funny to you even if nobody else thinks the joke is funny, it shows you have a sense of humor even if it is darker (like mine). And remember to smile :)
