My boyfriend's friends hate me, why?

this is one of the stupidest, most immature situations I've ever been in.

so my boyfriend and I broke up for a bit, but now we're planning on getting back together, but his friends absolutely despise me and don't support his decision in being with me.

2 or 3 of them are threatening never to talk to him again if he gets back together with me, and the rest will be mad.

they never liked me to begin with (with no reason, I had never had a conversation with any of them), but now their reasons are reinforced because I wasn't treating my boyfriend with respect

they really don't think I can change and they feel like I take him awaay from his friends in the sense that he's always unhappy when they're hanging out.

i honestly don't know what to do, they're being really stubborn about this and the fact that I have changed and promised to be better. my boyfriend is fighting to convince them as much as he can, but we both know that in the end, if they're still threatening not to talk to him, his friends will always come first

in addition, my boyfriend found out that his friends, in the entire duration of our relationship, didn't tell them about secrets occurring within the group because they didn't trust him; they knew he always told me everything. when we broke up, they caught him up on everything he missed.

what do I do? :(

If you weren't respectful and turned your boyfriend into a whiny little girl around his guy friends because he was so miserable of course they aren't going to like you. I actually haven't talked to one of my friends in a year because he is dating a woman that doesn't respect him and makes him miserable. I have another friend in the same boat and I'm about to stop hanging out with him too.

I know it sounds harsh but you blew it with this guy and his friends. Now you're just causing more drama because your boyfriend now has to choose if he wants you or his friends and can't have both.

I think you should move on and find a different guy and try to do things right this time.

If you don't get along with his friends, the relationship won't work. So you have to options:

1) Talk to his friends & hash it out. Tell them you really like your boyfriend & want to get along for his benefit. Listen to them & see if you guys can work things out.

2) Dump your boyfriend & find someone else.

Girly, I know that feeling. The friends talked sh*t simply because I don't know why. MAYBE BECAUSE HE LOVES ME MORE THAN THEM? Sucks that they can't accept how happy you two are. But you know what, let your boyfriend know just because they talk crap and not like you doesn't change how you feel for him. If you guys want to be together, then BE TOGETHER. Some people just can't stand others' happiness. As good "friends" of his, either they learn to shut up and tolerate you guys want to be, and LET you guys be. OR they can choose to find some other "friends" to cause drama with..and "friends" who can accept their negativity.

They acted like your going to date them not your bf.

If they are real friends they won't control him/his life.

So if he chose them then get over him because it is good for you..

You can't stay with a guy who follows/listens to his friends way more then you.

It's like a story of a mommy's boy but this time with his friends.

So if he were a real man and has something called"a personal life" then he would say"it's none of their business"

I've actually never had an issue with my boyfriend's friends ever... in fact I think if Josh broke my heart they'd kick his a** lol.

I personally think you should try to just be the best girl for your guy ever. Be considerate of his friends and his time with them. If he tells you things that were told to him by his friends keep those things to yourself. Treat your guy with respect. He's your boyfriend, but he's also their friend, so don't steal him away.

You should make his life better not more complicated.

I'd like to hear what a few of the friends have to say. Everyone paints themselves out to be a victim. I'd love to believe that you are in fact the victim here, but chances are that's just not true.

You have to look at it like this; friends will always be there, relationships are never guaranteed. Though, if he really cares about you he will just ditch his friends for you. The magical thing about guy friendships is how easily your friends will forgive you for the little things. But you said it's an immature situation so all bets are off.
