Do you get along better with girls or guys?

I’ve always got on better with guys because of mutual interests (enjoy watching football (and know my football both nationally and internationally), love playing proper video games, could easily hold my whiskey and beer/larger (not an alcopop person), could beat anyone at poker (Texas hold ‘em), was the best wingman and emergency ‘girlfriend’, no bitchy attitude or drama, openly talk about anything, like horror films etc.)

The girls I kept meeting were all bitches who loved constant drama, played mind games on their guys (who were genuinely decent guys!) and always did whatever was necessary to be the centre of attention... especially getting so drunk that it was embarrassing to be in the same group!!

I'd say guys. A lot of women like to play weird emotional games and you never know where you actually stand with them. Guys, in general, are more straight forward, honest, you do know where you stand, and it's so much simpler...

But it does get complicated once you get to a certain age and pretty much every guy you're friends with actually just wants to sleep with you. 🤔

I guess it depends on the situation...
guys are WAAAY less (I don't know how to put this)
they don't gossip and they aren't competing against us (if that makes sense)

so I would say guys (around my age)

unless like it's a girl question or need and opinion from a girl.. then girls :)

Not sure, probably girls... because they are more invested in trying to relate and connect, and looking for something about you, to appreciate... generally speaking.
From a guys perspective, it is absolutely more frequent and easier to become friends with another guy, but that is because you found another guy who likes the same shit you like, thinks you are funny, and that is all it takes usually. However, the percentage of guys who fit into that category, in terms of candidates who could connect like that, is a much smaller percentage than say, girls who seem to be more invested in looking for a reason to connect and bond, so the percentage is higher

That's a good question. In fact, I've been wondering that myself. My popularity is quite average. I share a lot of hobby's with the guys, but in the same time I'm quite sensitive and calm.
But in the same time I feel more freely when with guys. I can say what I want to. That doesn't mean that I can't do that when I'm with girls, but from previous experiences, girls tend to gossip. A lot. Also, because I might get feelings for a girl, and don't want to ruin everything with just one random word that I just blurred out. I get along fine with both genders, luckily, but if I have to make a choice, I think it's guys that I get along better with.

In my country, I usually do get along better with girls and females. First strong reason is that most of the guys, or men I met are either smokers or are just not my type of liking.

By liking I mean we don't share a common topic with each other.

It's a tad easier to get along with girls for one reason: they're more health-conscious!

I like talking to girls because I'm a "nice guy" but I've actually moved further and further away from that after getting brutally friend zoned multiple times. When I was younger I thought talking to and being nice to a girl I liked was the first step in the right romantic direction. Unfortunately in most circumstances nothing can be further from the truth.

Despite being a "nice guy" I got some tough guy traits. I wrestled in high school and some in college. Became a pro mma fighter later. But I don't relate to the average American guy well when it comes to major league sports and cars.

Definitely Guys, most of my friends have been guys, ever since i was 6, i am now 25 years old, i guess it's because I'm a tom boy, i like to rough house with the boys and beat them in their competitions (doesn't help i'm 6"4' and stronger than them) XD lol, just kidding, in all honesty i prefer guys because i can communicate on a guys level and I'm not one for the girly girl conversations or running away from a sports ball, i have taken quiet a few to the face and body and still managed to get the guys respect i deserve.

i'd rather hang out with like 4 guys and be the only chick, it works better that way because they don't have to decide on plans, i'm down for most things that guys do that girls don't want to do

I don't really get out much or have any friends anymore, but I would say I would get along much better with girls compared to most guys if the girls were the girly girl type of girl. I know I would get along too well with the typical guy because I am not a typical guy, and I also wouldn't get along that much with girls if they were either militant feminists or "no class" ghetto girls.
