I'm 16 and never had a boyfriend nor been kissed, what's wrong with me?

I'm 16, I'm in 11th grade and until now, I've never had any boyfriend nor been kissed or asked on a date. (well someone asked me on a date once but he wasn't my type)

I am not depressed or anything but I am really asking myself this question: what's wrong with me? Is it how I act, or how I look?!

I really feel weird because all my friends have had boyfriends or have been kissed except me.

Even in school, many of the guys have had crushes on some of my friends and we know that but for me, I don't think that someone ever had a crush on me.

Last time, a friend was talking about her boyfriend and asked me about my experiences, it was awkward.

There is absolutely NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU! My parents and a lot of my friends parents wouldn't even let them date until they were 16. From expirence I feel that by not dating until your 16+ gives you a chance to gain some independence in high school. Dating is a whole different ball game with drama and craziness but if you are patient the right guy will come along. The first year I started dating was the worst year of my life because I dated guys who were attractive and attracted to me without thinking twice about it. The most important thing is to find confidence in yourself and in being single. A lot of your friends who have dated are also being pressured in to situation you probably wouldn't want to be in and the only way to prepare for those situations is to gain some maturity. My little sister and I found a quote yesterday that said "The best girls don't have boyfriends because guys know that they are not good enough for them... and theyre right."!

No problem! My sister is 15 and I know there is a lot of pressure to date but I promise patience is worth it. It took me until after I graduated but I think I've finally found a good guy and you will too. Good Luck and stay strong!

All things come to those who wait. Don't worry about it. You're gorgeous! Stop thinking about guys and they'll come to you themselves XD Trust me. Just be yourself and don't worry about it ;)

Nothing is wrong with you. Your situation is probably more common than you think. You said that someone had asked you on a date so that's better than nothing, especially at your age. Try not to let yourself feel pressured by your situation because everyone is different. Your time will come.

ur welcome I am 16 also and I have many gorgeous friends that have never done anything at all either. its OK you have like 70 more years to live enjoy being who you r. I wish I hadn't lost it all. its almost worse doing more than doing less.
