When a guy cheats on his girlfriend with a sudden FWB, could he be falling for his FWB?

My friends with benefits partner already has a girlfriend for about 3 months before we met and had one night stand. We became friends and communicates through chat, sms, and calls. He always want to talk with me over the phone, but will initiate the 'goodbyes' if there's nothing we could talk about anymore. By the way, I have a long distance boyfriend for almost a year. My friends with benefits and I agreed that we'll stop the sex when my boyfriend comes back but we will remain friends. He's really serious with his girlfriend, even spending time with her if both them don't have work. But, when his girlfriend is at work and he's not, he will visit my house, he even became close with my family. Some even mistook us to be in a relationship. I think he's girlfriend is already doubting about him, because she found my name in his phone. He even called me to tell me that his girlfriend is doubting him when she found my name on his phone and it kinda p*ss him off. But still, my friends with benefits still remains sweet, intimate, protective, and really caring, even in public. He even wants to just hang-out, doing fun stuffs, without sex, with me. He would always be the first to ask me to go out with him, but it's clear that we really are only friends because we're both committed. Could it be that his feeling or love for his girlfriend has decreased even though they spend time with each other and is only doing his part of being a good boyfriend? And, could it be that he thinks that by being a good boyfriend, it could stop any feelings for me, because I also had a boyfriend, and he knows that I'm really in love with my boyfriend, you know, trying to move on? Because, that's what I'm trying to do. Working out my feelings for my boyfriend to forget my feelings for my fwb.
