Its not like white people's skin gets genetically damaged by the Uv rays. Yes they are more prone to skin cancers and stuff but even if u isolate a person from harmful radiations the white person's skin will not really age faster but loose collagen content which makes the skin loose. Melanin does protect from UV rays but melanin alone isn't what makes white people look older. Its kinda genetic too. The design of their skin.

For example, it amuses me no end to see white folks going to Asia and wondering "Why are they using umbrellas... it's sunny out today". Ever since I was young, my parents would always advice me to put on a hat and long-sleeved shirt or trousers if I was going to be working outside for more than a couple of minutes. Oh, and copious amounts of sunscreen. Also, "working on your tan" is not a thing in Asia. It's more along the lines of "let's get inside and enjoy the air-conditioning as soon as possible".

I seriously disagree that most black 45 year olds will look 30. Gabrielle union is not an average example and there are white women who are comparable. That said white women will age slightly quicker because they have fairer skin and the sun has more negative effects on white skin than it does to dark skin.

I've heard this from many people that Whites seem to age more
than Dark skin people not only talking about Blacks but people
from India , Asia etc, will hold their age better than Whites even

It is because the leading cause of wrinkles and skin damage is caused by the sun. Because black people have more melanin, they have better protection against the sun & environmental factors. Whiter skin people have less melanin & therefore need SPF & sun protection much more, otherwise their skin will age much faster. So in short, it's just a difference in our genetic/biological make up.
