Rob Lowe is freaking 57 years old.

Elijah Wood is 40.

Jennifer Anniston is 52.

Patrick Stewart with his too cool ass, is 81 years old married to a woman half his age. WTF?

I don't really look at celebrities to judge how people age, but I think as long as you eat healthy and take care of your body you'll be fine.
There are a few people i went to high school with that look ROUGH. But they smoke cigarettes and drink quite often. People I'm currently surrounded by work out and take care of themselves.

That is not something most do in forum. Most people do not use this definition of "race". Race for the vast majority here is not a choice. It is an "objective" fact. We can argue from here to forever about does Blake Griffin look young because his father is African-American, even as his father has a significant amount of European DNA.

In a scientific study, no one can deny the results that melanin in the skin protects against sun damage. But that's the whole point of the thread. In environments not needing that protection, why would you see evidence of what we call premature aging?

Celebrities aren't like average people, because they have access to the best doctors, plastic surgeons, dermatologists and skincare products in the world and live stress-free lives. I think a lot of things tie into aging. Some people might get lucky and age gracefully and other people simply become a mess of wrinkles as they age. A lot of the men in my family end up looking like a old base ball gloves as they get older. It hit my grandfather once he was forced to retire. He become a few shades darker then a paper towel and had more wrinkles then a pug. So it might be due to your aging catching up with you after you retire.

I think cuz many white people are racist to other races. So we have to get them back for something. I think it could be cuz many of them smoke and drink. But honestly I think they age as fast as anybody else, and possibly due to their skin lacking some type of fat found in Asians (their face are rounder) and black people. Also it could be their nose bridge are higher, so it kind of stretches out their skin and makes it thinner. This is just my guess. I would agree that perhaps in certain climates they could experience issues with their skin being exposed to high temperatures and the sun. The problem is this is a two way street. Because melanin can cause your skin become irritated in other environments leading to blotches and spots which make you look older than you are.

Melanin provides extra protection from the Sun. So if Africans evolved to have more melanin production that is due to the environment of Africa. That ain't race. That is science.

Phenotype, that small part of your genetic code, interacts with the environment to express itself as darker skin.

Learn some science. So in other parts of the globe where the environment was different there was no need for that particular trait to evolve. Lighter skin tones did not hinder the success of those populations. So why on earth would anyone conclude that melanin stops the aging process, when there is no need for it in climates outside of the environments where it evolved?
